| Motivation |
In
August of 2002 I was in Puerto Rico on
the beach. I remember seeing myself in
a bathing suit with rolls of fat on my
stomach. I had been running five days
per week, 3 miles per day and doing Pilates.
With all of this activity I was still
gaining weight. I decided I needed to
do something. I researched fitness trainers
and I found Sonja. She is someone that
I can work with who is able to motivate
me both physically and emotionally. Sonja
explained that although I was doing some
good things related to my exercise, I
needed to add different exercises to gain
lean muscle tissue which we help me lose
more fat.
At 43 I discovered that my body was going
through early menopause. This resulted
in extra weight...particularly around
my waist. We started a program to manipulate
my system to achieve the positive changes
I wanted. Some of these strategies included
more focused resistance training and adding
speed interval sessions to my cardio exercise. |

Within
months I was noticing positive changes
in my body. More importantly almost three
years later I have created a sleek, strong
physique by following Sonja’s program
of Cardio, Resistance training, and healthy
dieting. |
| Results |

I
have lost a total of 10 pounds of
body fat.

My cholesterol level went down.

have more energy.

sleep better.

I
improved my Golf game. I am now hitting
the ball farther and am stronger over
the ball.

changed my entire physique by losing
over 11 inches from my chest, hips,
waist, and thighs.

went down an average of 2 pants sizes
and had to purchase several new items
and alter others for my wardrobe.

am happy, confident and feel great
in my own body! I was comitted to
the program but if it was not for
Sonja's training and personality to
motivate me, I would not have experienced
the success I have in my health and
fitness.
