Personal Training and Pilates
FIT studio specializes in one-on-one private training in fitness and Pilate and the only studio in Wellington offering both fitness and Pilates. We believe different workouts are necessary to keep the body responding and constantly improving fitness and overall wellness. Custom programs are available that incorporate both fitness and Pilates in one session. Your workouts will constantly change … workouts are never the same or boring. Body fat testing, fitness assessments and basic food coaching are all a part of our private training sessions.

Sports Specific Training
Specializing in equestrian and golf athletes
Because we are athletes too, we know that training for peak performance isn’t an option, it’s a requirement. Building out from your core, our trainers will work with you to take your body’s strength and stamina to competition ready condition, and ensure that you stay strong and well throughout the season. Off season we’ll help you maintain what you worked so hard to build. We are here to discuss a plan that is specific to your body, your sport, your game. We’d be honored to be part of your training regimen.
- Equestrians: The training you do off the horse need to correlate to what you do on the horse. Pilates, focusing on core strength, posture and movement with control are all necessities for peak rider performance and will help with rider/horse connection. Increasing stamina and endurance through fitness will be a key in your overall riding.
- Golf: Enhance your swing, add yards to your drive, reduce back pain, become a stronger, better golfer with a fitness and Pilates program that targets all muscles involved for great golf swing. Golf if one of the few sports that we can play for a lifetime… so take care of your body, add years on your swing and improve your golf score at the same time.
- TPI Golf Fitness Analysis:

Utilizing TPI's physical screening process, your ability to generate and transfer speed will be measured to determine the most efficient energy transfer throughout your body. Isolating any physical limitations, these findings are correlated to your golf swing and a custom-conditioning program is prescribed. This can be in conjunction with your teaching Pro. The TPI Golf Assessment is conducted by TPI Certified trainer, Rhonda Ashkettle. Rhonda will work with you to create YOUR best golf game. After your TPI physical screening process, Rhonda will guide you through proper exercises to enhance your game. Pilates has been credited by many professional golfers as a method that specifically targets the body's muscle strength balancing that is needed for proper swing technique. (The part in green can also be incorporated in my bio.) What is your sport? Whether it is tennis, basketball, baseball… agility, strength training and cardio are all important elements of a being the best athlete you can be. Fitness and Pilates programs are available for all sports.

We will come to you… we will observe you practicing with your Equestrian trainer or Golf Pro to identify weaknesses and strengths in order to determine the best fitness and Pilates training program. When you are training outside your sport, working on specifics are a key to success. Pulsar Plus Program This program is designed to help you through medical conditions or sports injury recover by working with your doctor or physical therapist while continuing your exercise program. Always concerned about your health and safety, this program is designed to safely continue your fitness routine after medical release from your doctor. Prenatal Pilates Many women find Pilates to be one of the best exercises to do both during and after their pregnancy. Pilates it is a great way to build core strength, your abdominals, back and pelvic floor muscles to help support a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery. Pilates also helps in getting moms get their figure back after the baby is born. Pilates exercises can be modified as your body and abilities change. A Doctors release is required for prenatal Pilates. All clients: A doctor’s release may be required prior to starting a fitness program at FIT studio if two or more health conditions/ concerns are present when filling out a PARQ profile. If your health history has changed at any time, please advise FIT studio.
