FitPlay®
is a healthy lifestyle program for children from the
ages of 6 to 12 incorporating cardiovascular, muscular
and flexibility activities as well as nutritional programming
and wellness education. From weight-loss to sport-specific,
kids of all fitness backgrounds will be challenged and
motivated by this program!
Based upon the latest research findings in the area
of Youth Fitness, ACSM and AFAA CertifiedPersonal Trainer
and Youth Fitness Instructor Sonja Friend-Uhl has created
this program to enhance the quality of our children’s
lives through the promotion of proper exercise and nutrition
habits. The primary objective is to educate the children
on the importance of making a lifetime commitment to
fitness. FitPlay® accomplishes this by instilling
a love for movement and exercise. The result is a foundation
of enhanced health for the rest of their lives!
By focusing on individual achievement and improvement
and incorporating FUN into every workout, Sonja and
her team have a unique way of motivating and teaching
kids to give 100% in every effort and how to turn negatives
into positives in every situation.
